President, Pritzker Innovation Fund
Rachel Pritzker is the founder and principal of Festus Group LLC, a venture capital fund that invests in health and media-related companies.
Rachel is also the founder and president of the Pritzker Innovation Fund whose mission is to support an innovative, problem-solving policy approach to a range of wicked problems.
She previously served as a founding board member of the Democracy Alliance, a partnership of business and philanthropic leaders committed to a stronger democracy by supporting progressive organizations with a concentration on media, policy, mobilization, and leadership training. She also formerly served on the board of the Pema Foundation and was a founding board member of Media Matters for America. Rachel currently chairs the advisory board of the Breakthrough Institute.
Rachel attended Brown University where she majored in Latin American studies and comparative religious studies. She is a clinical nutritionist who co-founded the nation’s first accredited master’s degree program in botanical medicine.
