The NRC Rulemaking Tracker was created to help the public, industry stakeholders, and policymakers stay informed as the Nuclear Regulatory Commission considers a large volume of active rulemakings. The tracker reflects the full list of NRC active rulemakings, including each rule's current phase, next expected action date, and a plain-language description of its scope—updated automatically multiple times per day. Visitors can filter by phase or keyword, sort by upcoming deadlines, and click through to the NRC's official rulemaking page for detailed dockets.
