Beth Soholt
Executive Director, Clean Grid Alliance
Beth Soholt is the Executive Director of the non-profit organization Clean Grid Alliance (CGA). CGA is the Midwest’s premier organization focused on driving the development of renewable energy by applying technical and public policy expertise, expanding renewable energy markets and building support for clean energy in the Midwest. Launched in 2001, CGA members include non-profit clean energy and environmental advocacy organizations, wind, solar, and storage developers, wind turbine manufacturers, and businesses that provide goods and services to the renewable energies industries. The CGA footprint covers nine states that stretch from the Dakotas to Indiana and Michigan to Missouri.
Beth serves on the CGA board of directors and is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the organization at the state and regional levels, fundraising, developing key relationships and guiding CGA staff in day-to-day work. She holds a seat on the MidContinent Independent System Operator (MISO) Advisory Committee representing the Environmental Sector. Beth holds a law degree from Hamline University Law School, St. Paul, Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Luther College, Decorah, Iowa.
