Policy Associate, Clean Air Task Force
Deepika Nagabhushan is an Energy Policy Associate at the Clean Air Task Force (CATF), an independent, environmental non-profit organization. At CATF, Deepika explores the impact of policies on creating and commercializing zero-carbon energy technologies, with a focus on Carbon Capture and Storage. Deepika oversees economic modeling projects to evaluate impacts of economic incentives intended to drive CCS deployment in the U.S. power sector. In California, Deepika leads CATF's policy efforts aimed at enabling CO2 reductions from carbon capture to qualify in the state’s greenhouse gas reduction programs. Deepika also supports CATF's efforts to develop strategies, by analyzing various technology pathways, to achieve both global deep decarbonization and energy access.
Before joining CATF, Deepika led global marketing projects at Schneider Electric across Asia-Pacific countries and developed strategy for Schneider Electric Foundation’s Access to Energy program. Deepika holds an MS in Sustainability Management from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Bangalore University in India.
