Helen Kopnina is Assistant Professor at Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University, and Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Salford. She holds a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge and has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles and 15 books on biodiversity governance, ecocentric ethics, ESG accountability, circular economy critique, and sustainable business education. She serves in advisory roles with the IUCN, ERC, UNESCO, and the World Economic Forum, and has consulted for organisations including Heineken, ING Bank, and Patagonia.
