Ning Li is a distinguished professor and Dean of School of Energy Research at Xiamen University. He is also Associate Director for International Cooperation at the UC Berkeley Nuclear Research Center and the Director of Asia Development for TerraPower. Previously, Ning was the Industrial Fellow for Civilian Nuclear Programs at Los Alamos National Laboratory. He has a Ph.D in physics from UC Santa Barbara and is a recipient of the 2006 Asian American Engineer of the Year Award and a 2010 Scientific Chinese Person of the Year Award.
