This interactive tool from The Breakthrough Institute brings together two analyses of nuclear energy in the United States. The Potential Map and Potential Dashboard tabs visualize results from our 2022 modeling study of advanced nuclear deployment through 2050. The New Capacity Map tab is a separate, independently sourced analysis of near-term new nuclear capacity: uprate and restart potential at the existing US fleet, plus the pipeline of new-build reactor projects in development, built from current NRC and industry data.
