Kartikeya Singh

Deputy Director, Center for Strategic & International Studies

Dr. Kartikeya Singh is Deputy Program Director at the SED Fund. He brings more than a decade of experience engaging with government, research institutions, intergovernmental organizations, civil society, and private companies in the sustainable development sector. He has traveled from the Arctic to the Antarctic, exploring the challenges of energy geopolitics in a changing climate.

For several years Kartikeya was at the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) where he was charged with leading the Center’s engaging Indian states initiative. He has developed new strategies and created new networks to bolster public and private sector engagement with Indian states. Specifically, he successfully designed and led two separate initiatives at CSIS focused on energy and healthcare engagement with Indian states.

Kartikeya received his B.S. in ecology and sustainable development, his M.E.Sc. from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, and his Ph.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
