Lisa Margonelli is the editor in chief of Issues in Science and Technology and a professor of practice at Arizona State University’s School for the Future of Innovation in Society. She has written two award-winning books: Oil on the Brain: Petroleum’s Long, Strange,Trip to Your Tank (2007) and Underbug: An Obsessive Tale of Termites and Technology (2018). From 2005-2012 she worked on energy policy at the New America Foundation.
