Priscilla Atansah

Priscilla Atansah joined the Center for Global Development in June 2015 to support the Center’s research on energy access and international financial institutions. Before joining CGD, she conducted independent field research on Ghana’s power sector and the potential role of solar and nuclear energy in consolidating electricity access. She has since published a paper on Ghana’s exploration of nuclear power and the role of small modular reactors. In continuation with her research and policy interests, she is beginning a new role as the Special Assistant (Energy Policy) to the Deputy Minister of Finance in Ghana.
Priscilla earned her bachelors of arts in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University with a certificate in African Studies.
