Sarah Myhre

Sarah E. Myhre, Ph.D. is a climate and ocean scientist with expertise in the physical, biological, and chemical consequences of abrupt climate warming. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of California at Davis, and has worked as a Research Associate at the University of Washington’s School of Oceanography.
Prior to graduate school, Sarah worked as a NOAA field diver in the remote Tropical Pacific and spent more than 1,000 hours underwater. Sarah is a Kavli Fellow with the National Academy of Science and has published is such journals as PNAS, Paleoceanography, and Deep Sea Research II. She has extensive public speaking, climate advocacy, and community organizing experience.
Sarah is also the founder of Rowan Institute, a social impact startup focused on scientific leadership.
