Timothy Fitzgerald is an economist appointed as an Associate Professor in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. He researches topics in natural resource and environmental economics, focusing on energy issues. In 2017-2018 he served as a Senior Economist and as Chief International Economist at the Council of Economic Advisers in the White House.
