You can’t fix what you can’t see – what historically may be conceived as a simple notion is now the mission behind a company that operates history’s largest fleet of Earth-imaging satellites. Brittany Zajic oversees disaster response operations at Planet Labs, an integrated satellite and data analytics company headquartered in the heart of downtown San Francisco. Planet’s Disaster Response Program originated in 2016 and remains committed to providing the emergency response community insights derived from satellite imagery during environmental and humanitarian crises. Before coming to Planet, Brittany spent several years in the Earth Science Division at NASA managing natural disaster application research projects.
