John is an associate professor of economics at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. His research interests are in the areas of natural resource and environmental economics, specifically in energy and climate change economics in developing countries. He is the author or coauthor of more than 70 research publications, including eight books and monographs, 49 journal articles, and 11 commissioned reports.
