Benjamin Goren
Livestock Analyst
Benjamin is a livestock analyst at the Breakthrough Institute where he focuses on agricultural innovation, including the methane emissions and land use effects of practices used in production of cattle and other livestock. He has worked as a research associate in agricultural policy and economics at the American Enterprise Institute and a line cook and sous chef at restaurants in Saint Paul and Baltimore.
Benjamin lives in Baltimore where he and his wife tend to a garden, a dog, two cats, and a classic row home. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Macalester College.
