Thia joined Breakthrough in 2019 and currently serves on the Executive Team as Breakthrough's Director of Events & Special Projects. She is in charge of the organization's conferences and events program and leads key projects to improve communication and collaboration both internally across the organization and externally across our networks, partners, and funders. She holds a BA in English Literature, with a focus in Creative Writing, from the University of California Los Angeles, has been published at least 800 times on her own Instagram page (as well as literary magazines) and thinks she's really funny.
