Loren King
Loren King was a senior policy analyst at Breakthrough and a 2012 Breakthrough Generation Fellow. He graduated from Oxford University in 2011 with a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. At Oxford, Loren took a particular interest in issues of international politics, economic growth and industrial policy. He wrote a research paper on the recent revival of ‘deliberative democracy’ theories and how these could be applied to the domain of global regulation. Since graduating, Loren has immersed himself fully into the world of Politics. He worked for a public affairs consultancy and helped produce a pamphlet on the UK’s exchange rate policy. He also interned with the British Minister for foreign aid Lynne Featherstone, getting an insider’s view into the world of policy-making. Follow him on Twitter @loren_kng
